I have the same problem with my Volvo S40 getting water in the front and rear floor. I have had the sun roof and AC drains declogged twice now, paid for it, and still have the same problem.

Have a 2004 XC90 and just vacuumed, this weekend (4/14/12) 8 gallons of water from the passenger side floor under the mats/carpet. Wiring harness was sitting in water. Sun roof drains were plugged with dirt. Dash Instrument Module (DIM) has also failed again causing the lights to not work, power steering is lost, power brakes to not work, power assist transmission to not work and all warning lights to not work!

Same happened in 2010. Vacuumed out 6 gallons of water. DIM damaged again. Replaced it at cost of $1800 and lasted for less then 6 months until it got water logged again.

Volvo acknowledges the water problem on the NHTS website, www.safercar.gov, but has yet to offer reimbursement for the damage, labor, or loss of use of the vehicle due to their poor engineering.

Will join a class action suit if we can get one started!

Last week my 9 yr old son was on spring break. We decided to take the kids to Six Flags(Vallejo) that is 45min-1hr away from us.On our way home we stoped by Ikea and it had started to rain.Little did we know that we where going to be stuck driving home in a thunder storm.Once we left the parking garage the rain and lightning got worse. But we had nothing to worry about, right? We stopped to get one last thing and then before I knew it both my sunroof and the panel on the drivers side leaked. Who would of thought that a Volvo XC90 would have that problem. Well it did stop and we made home with out having to swim.I am still trying to figure out what to do, but after reading everything here I too want to know where i can sign up for this lawsuit.

I have a 2004 V70 which has a chronic leak on the passenger side, under the dash. I have a had a windshield installer remove the cowling and caulk around the vent intake, and I have also replaced the rubber corner seals, all to no avail. For the price we have had to pay for these autos, we deserve better. If there is a class action suit to be formed, count me in.

I had a mentor implant come thru my skin and cause an infection that was starting to eat the muscle around my heart. I had it removed 2 weeks ago and they wont remove the other (that is full) due to not wanting to infect the other side. I litterally had a HOLE in my breast and could touch the implant itself.
What can I do now? had my implants put in 8 years ago

I just had the same problem. After a heavy rainstorm, I had about 3 inches of water on the driver's side floor. I had to pay $300 to repair something that is a defect.

2005 XC90 – My girlfriend and I just purchase this lovely car from Auto One in Santa Cruz, CA. after the first rain we notice water on the floor of the passage side front. Then a week later we had another storm and I had about ¾” to 1” of water on the floor. I Googled this problem and found this website, volvoXC.com and Endmuds.com. Interesting when I called the dealer they acted like this is an isolated issue, and “the car is out of warranty” I was told, and they were not aware of any pending class action suit. This horrible and when I removed the seat a carpet the first time I found mold.
